Legendary Design Guru Jony Ive To Take Over As Apple’s Human Interface Design Head

Jony Ive

Apple recently announced that Jony Ive–the man behind the iMac, the iPhone, and the iPad hardware–will be taking the role of as head of human interface design alongside his existing role as leader of industrial design, following the departure of its successor Scott Fortsall.  In short, Ive will take over both Apple’s hardware AND software development.  With this latest development, it’s believed that Apple’s software and hardware design will become more coherent.

Will Steve Jobs and his followers approve this announcement?  Apple will always be Apple but it will never be the same again.  Nevertheless, I think Ive is genius and I can’t wait to see what Ive has in store for future iOS releases.
