Nelson Mandela started the revolution against apartheid, eventually became South Africa’s first black President, was 95 years old when has met our Creator after fighting against a prolonged illness.
He was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 for his work in the battle against government-sanctioned racial segregation in South Africa.
Nelson Mandela will always be the epitome of hope and triumph, that forgiveness is always stronger than hate. As we remember him, let us look back at some of the wonderful teachings he had shared with us. Although he is no longer with us physically, his legacy lives on.
