James Holmes, the man accused of opening fire this month inside an Aurora, Colorado, movie theater, has been officially charged with a total of 142 counts, including first degree murder in relation to the shooting.
James Holmes is the suspect for killing 12 people and wounding 58 others during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises on 20 July 2012 in Aurora, Colorado.
In his initial court appearance last week, the 24-year-old former doctoral candidate was hair dyed in various shades of orange – appeared dazed and did not speak. I think he was just playing to be in a mental disorder, as a safer way out. Whether Holmes wants to plead not guilty due to Insanity is yet to be revealed.
Authorities have remained silent about a possible motive in the case.
